Southfacing became involved with 2012 projects with the Aquatic Centre working in sub-contract to Arup. Extensive pre-assessment works were required due to the requirements of the Olympic BREEAM assessment process. We also liaised with ODA and BRE during the development of the Olympic BREEAM standard to ensure that it was appropriate to the development. Following the contract being awarded to Balfour Beatty we have been retained during construction. Both Games stage assessments have now been successfully completed.
