Client: Sellar Properties (in sub-contract to Rickaby Thompson Associates Ltd)
Description: Due to the scale of this building and the mix of functional spaces which will be provided, a Bespoke BREEAM will cover the hotel, retail, viewing galleries and residential sections of the building with a standard BREEAM Offices assessment covering the commercial section. Due to the overlap of these assessments and complexity in applying the BREEAM requirements to such a building, a team of assessors has been building (Rickaby Thompson Associates and Southfacing) to provide client and design team support alongside the formal assessment. Construction underway. Completion expected in 2012.
