Part L Energy Modelling

Part L1

Southfacing Services are accredited On Construction Domestic Energy Assessors (OCDEA), and can provide full SAP calculations to demonstrate compliance with Part L1 of building regulations. Post construction, Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) can be provided.

We are experienced at providing detailed analysis of domestic energy demands, and can tailor these investigations to meet a variety of objectives, including Code for Sustainable Homes Criteria and planning requirements.

Part L2

We can undertake Building Regulations Part L2 compliance and Energy Performance Certificates for non-domestic buildings. In order that we provide energy performance calculations with a good level of accuracy, we use Tas building simulation software (accredited by Department of Communities and Local Government). All EPCs issued are authorised by CIBSE Certification Ltd.

We also offer a range of Building Physics and Simulation services to enable the calculation of energy performance for these complex buildings. A range of industry standard software products are used and we can assess energy, comfort, airflow and daylight performance for all building types.
