Originally appointed via Hopkins Architects (from RIBA Stage B) and later novated to ISG, Southfacing undertook extensive preassessment works during design development leading to the design stage assessment. The building benefits from a very low energy design and light-weight steel cable roof.
This roof is the first of its kind in the UK and means that substructure and material use can be minimised. Southfacing were also appointed to undertake the Games time Post Construction Review. Both stages have now been successfully completed.
